For SRB700, we are continuing on the project we left off with in SBR600 and that is to get DXR all packaged and ready for Fedora 13 /14.
My contribution to this project is get to GCC backported from 4.5 to 4.4 and also get Dehydra working with the GCC that will get backported.
Over the holiday, I have basically patched GCC and encountered some problems which has not been solved yet.
So my Road Map for this course this semester are:
Week 2 - 3
Talk with Chris Tyler and see what who I can communicate with in regards to fix the problems I have encountered while Diego from Google is currently busy on a project and won't be able to respond till the end of January, early February.
Week 4 - 5
Hopefully with all the problems fixed, I can start building a RPM for the back ported GCC, and have a release candidate to test out.
Week 6 - 7
Work on the bugs of the back ported GCC till it is usable
Week 8 - 9
Incorporate the back ported GCC with the Dehydra Package I created, and do some tests on it.
Week 10 - 11
Fix the bugs that I may encounter during the trial runs.
Week 12
Sleep IN!!!
